Kip Longinotti-Buitoni

Board of Advisors

Kip Longinotti-Buitoni is a screenwriter, freelance journalist, humanitarian adventurer, mom and former model, who’s out to prove that compassion can be inspiring! She is a graduate of Pomona College and NYU and has a Masters Degree in Screen Writing from the Tisch/Gallatin Division at NYU.

In 2007, Kip launched www.Compassionworx.com a web-based application that tracks, validates and documents community service and volunteerism. A You Tube meets Facebook application that provides individuals with a CompassionWorx Index and lets them tell their stories of service and “good works”. The mission of CompassionWorx is to enable individuals to marry their passion with compassion in their hunt to find projects and initiatives that they really care about and can “own”.

In 2006, Kip launched Global Compassion In Action, a non-profit organization that links resources with small humanitarian on-the-ground operations in underprivileged and under-served global communities in an effort to promote public awareness and action

Kip joined Dr. Bob Arnot in the filming of “Dr. Danger” a television series for Time Warner’s high-definition MOJO Network (aired October 1st, 2006). During this filming, Kip headed out across Africa on BMW motorcycles to ride with Dr. Danger as his sidekick, Nurse Fearless. Her other credits during this shoot were South Africa Coordinator, On-Camera Personality, Writer, and Still Photographer.
