Carmen BensVega – Columbia, SC

After researching the topic of human trafficking in my AP European History class, I began to have a strong desire to change the world’s patterns of human trafficking, as well as to provide justice to those millions of individuals whom have been affected by this action. I want to be a part of a group of people that put a great amount of effort and passion toward ending this global crime, and, as a member of the FDFF Student Board, I believe that this dream can be fulfilled. I hope to work hard to spread the injustices of human trafficking around the world, and to call the population to action in order to, not only decrease the statistics of trafficked peoples, but to also find solutions to prevent this crime in the future.
